The Chilliwack Academy of Music has provided high quality music instruction for the Chilliwack community since 1979.
The Chilliwack Arts Council is an umbrella organization whose purpose is to enrich the quality of life for the residents of Chilliwack by the effective use of resources and volunteers to encourage education and participation in the Arts.
The Chilliwack Cultural Centre, a $22 million community cultural facility, is the newest jewel in the City of Chilliwack's inventory of first rate facilities. The completed Centre includes an art gallery, a 500+ seat performance theatre, a 150 seat recital hall/rehearsal space/dance studio/meeting space, music instruction rooms, arts and crafts studios and related amenities.
The Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra was founded in August of 2008 to fulfill desires of musicians to have a symphony orchestra that gave them opportunites to perform classical and popular music featuring world class soloists, both instrumental and vocal.
The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra was created in 1999. The group now consists of over 150 musicians, who perform two concerts per year for over 1100 patrons per concert.
The Chilliwack Visual Artists Association is a not for profit organization of local artists working and playing together in an effort to encourage the appreciation of Art in all forms.
The Fraser Valley Philharmonic Society is dedicated to the creation and encouragement of musical opportunities for the citizens of the region
Since 1958, the Chilliwack Museum and Archives have collected objects and archival documents related to the history of the community. The extensive collection can be seen in a variety of rotating exhibits at the main museum building or at the archives facility.
Public art has the power to energize and enhance our public spaces, make us think, and transform where we live, work and play. We support public art through the Chilliwack Public Art Policy.
