Job Description: The City of Abbotsford???s Legislative Services Division is in search of a self-motivated professional to join their dynamic team as a Legislative Services Clerk.

If you have considerable knowledge of the applicable rules, regulations, policies and practices which govern activities of the Legislative Services Division, and are proficient in a variety of computer systems and software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and Adobe, we want to hear from you!
Duties: In this fast paced, deadline oriented role, you will provide administrative services to the Legislative Services Division. Responsibilities include preparation and assembly of items for Council, Committee and other agendas, processing documents for execution, assisting the Information and Privacy Coordinator with administrative tasks involving Requests for Access to Records under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act as well as additional clerical and administrative support as required. Your organization, prioritization and time management skills will make you an asset to the team. Your problem solving skills, mature judgement and ability to create efficiencies in your work will guide your success in this position.
Educational Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have:

??? Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by four post-secondary courses in administration and
computerized software (word processing and spreadsheet application).
??? A minimum of two years clerical experience in a customer facing role, including preparing
agendas, transcribing minutes and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
Salary: This position is unionized, C.U.P.E. Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $24.57 to $28.90 per hour.
