We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated, independent individuals to fill up to two time-duration positions within the Parks Department. The term of these positions will be from approximately May to August 2020. The regular hours of work are 7.5 hours per day, scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Duties: As a Parks Student at the FVRD, a typical week could see you assisting the Parks??? team with routine park maintenance, parks security and public relations. Duties include grounds and building maintenance; trail grooming; janitorial services; minor carpentry/construction; painting and park inspections; and enforcing rules for safety and security in our parks. Educational Requirements: Candidates who meet the knowledge and skills requirements for the job are welcome to apply for the position.
