The Surrey RCMP Detachment is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, team player to fill for a Records Clerk 4 position. The incumbent will perform complex file processing work while utilizing the RCMP electronic data systems. You will liaise with and provide information to appropriate departmental staff including outside agencies. This position involves working shift work in a 24/7 operation with extended hours.
As a Records Clerk 4, will be responsible for:
•Adding, modifying, removing and confirming warrants and other documents on CPIC
•Maintaining other RCMP electronic data systems as required
•Coordination of work an training other records staff
•Providing information to staff and agencies regarding departmental policy and procedures
The successful candidate will have:
•Completed Grade 12, supplemented by in-house courses relevant to the RCMP Records system
•Three or more years of CPIC Records experience
•An accurate typing speed of 45 wpm and the ability to pass and maintain the RCMP reliability clearance are required
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
•This position requires completion of an RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.
•Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
