| Job Description: |
The District of Mission is currently seeking a self-motivated, responsible team player to work as a Skate Patrol for the ice season. |
|
| Duties: |
As a front-line staff member, you will be responsible to ensure safety practices are followed by skaters during public skate sessions and that customers have a positive and respectful experience.
|
|
| Educational Requirements: |
You will be at least 16 years old, have completed grade 10 and have strong skating skills for extended periods of time. |
|
| Skill Requirements: |
Successful candidates will have a current Standard First Aid certification, strong customer service skills and be able to successfully pass a Criminal Record Check. |
|
| Salary: |
The rate of pay for this seasonal CUPE position is $24.11 per hour plus 12.4% in lieu of benefits. |
|
| Additional Information: |
You must be available to work Sundays from 11:a.m. to 3:p.m. and a split shift on Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and again from 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm, along with other shifts as required. |
