| Job Description: |
The District of Mission is seeking energetic and motivated individuals with excellent customer service and organizational skills to work as auxiliary/on-call Facilities Maintenance Workers 1's. |
|
| Duties: |
Employees in this position perform a variety of janitorial and custodial functions. They clean and maintain municipal buildings in the public service areas, municipal offices and the Leisure Centre. Duties include a variety of cleaning and refurbishing tasks. |
|
| Educational Requirements: |
FMW1???s must have completed grade 12 or equivalent and possess a Building Service Worker certificate with a minimum of 6 months experience in a janitorial type position. |
|
| Skill Requirements: |
You will possess an Occupational First Aid Level 1 certificate or recognized equivalent, and a valid BC Driver???s license. |
|
| Salary: |
The 2016 hourly rate for this positon is $27.70 plus 4% in lieu of benefits. |
|
| Additional Information: |
The successful candidates must be available to work primarily afternoons and occasional day shifts. Auxiliaries must be available to work on short notice.
