Reporting to the Utilities Engineer, you will perform a variety of technical work related to water supply & distribution, sewage collection, sewage pump stations and other related water and wastewater facilities. Activities required include data collection & analyses, hydraulic network analysis, system planning, design, budgeting, conducting investigations, writing letters & memos, preparation of contract documents, project management, construction supervision for the installation, construction and rehabilitation of water & wastewater infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience in the collection, evaluation & analysis of field data; ??? Possession of strong computer and communication skills; ??? Possession of sound knowledge of engineering and technical methods, practices and procedures related to water and wastewater systems; ??? Possession of knowledge and experience in water & sewer modeling software; ??? Possession of a valid class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence; ??? Registration or eligibility for registration as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) with APEGBC; ??? Registration or eligibility for membership in ASTTBC.
