Reporting to the ECM Solutions Manager, our Business Analysts have the important role of engaging business units, understanding their needs, and delivering custom solutions that enable our customers to achieve their goals. The technology behind this corporate initiative is the OpenText ECM Suite of products. This position is for a two-year term. Duties: You will be challenged with exciting and diverse work including identification of opportunities for business process enhancements, custom work flows, document scanning, line-of-business application integration, and mobility. As an ECM BA your primary role will be to effectively engage the City???s business units in order to understand their particular operational needs and thereby deliver the most appropriate business solutions. You will work with other ECM Team members to conduct research and analysis, make proposals on new/emerging technology/solutions, develop and deliver user training, user self-help material, and practices and procedures documents. The ECM Team is focused on enhancing the operational effectiveness of business units, improving customer services, and achieving a corporate ROI as a result. In addition to your core BA competencies of fact-finding discussions, documenting business processes and systems, business requirements gathering, analysis, and creating appropriate artifacts, you will be expected to leverage your people skills to develop, and build upon, strong working relationships with our customers.
