Facility Attendant to be available Saturdays, Sundays and some holiday relief at the Surrey Museum. This role will appeal to those who appreciate a flexible or irregular part-time schedule and who enjoy interacting with our customers. Duties: You will be responsible for the reception duties at the Surrey Museum including meeting and greeting visitors. General duties include telephone and in-person reception, basic clerical duties, handling and reconciling cash for admissions and sales, taking registrations for programs, providing information and facility orientation. The position supports the opening and closing of the facility and monitors, implements and reports safety and risk management issues and practices in a public operation. Educational Requirements: The successful candidate will have completed grade 12 supplemented by 1 year of office experience or a combination of training and experience. Skill Requirements: You must have excellent customer service and communication skills. You are familiar with the programs, activities and services of the City???s Heritage Services. You understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions, enjoy working in a team setting and you possess strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
